Spam Series part 3! Today, we have β€œSpam Friesβ€πŸŸ The first time I had these was at a hipster Hawaiian restaurant and they tasted so gooood. Surprisingly, they are super easy to make at home! πŸ™‚

Ingredients:

- 1 can of Spam

- 2 eggs

- Corn starch 1/2 cup

- Panko 1 cup

- Salt (a pinch)

- Ketchup

- Neutral oil (with a high smoke point for frying) I.e. corn, vegetable or safflower

Instructions:

1. Cut your spam into sticks.

2. Prepare your dredging station. Place your corn starch in a small flat tray or a plate.

3. Scramble 2 eggs + a pinch of salt and place into a tray or deep dish.

4. Lastly, Pour panko out into a tray or deep dish.

5. Add your oil to a pot and heat it up to 375F

6. Coat your spam sticks in corn starch, then in egg, then in panko. Get all the crevices covered.

7. Place in the oil and fry for 1-2 mins until golden

8. Remove and set on a wired rack to cool

9. Plate up! I reused the can to hold the fries bc they look so cute ☺️

10. Serve with ketchup. Enjoy!
