Mom Hack?

So maybe this isn't a hack to some, but maybe it is? Do any moms do this? I know my kiddos love ketchup, but I don't enjoy the messes that come with it. So to fix that, I put the ketchup on the bun, squish it back together, pull it apart again, then place the hotdogs or hamburger. No mess for me and no fuss for ketchup. Thoughts?
