Do you agree that YA books should remain PG13?

Do you agree with me that YA books should just remain PG13? Young Adult books caters to readers age from 13 years old to 18 years. For more complex themes and topics that often in a more mature way - readers should read Adult books which caters for 18+ readers only.

Unfortunately there's some irresponsible readers think that young adult books should spice it up a little which I honestly think ridiculous. It literally defeat the purpose pf having this two category.

Another problem arises as well when bookstores didn't put a warning label for 18+ books. I saw a lot of young high schoolers that bought books that written for 18+ readers and their parents didn't even know the content. They just paid for the books. I really think Malaysia bookstores should put a warning label for books that are for Adults.
