3 Basic Wicca Practices

for context on why i couldn’t practice:

my mum has participated in or been raised under every religion there basically is, and out of all of them my mum most aligns with wicca/paganism. my dad wasn’t really religious, but he did go to a catholic high school and a lot of the things they taught stuck to him. my dad wasn’t uncomfortable around other religions (obv bc if he was he wouldn’t have married my mum) but he still had a small irrational fear of witchcraft. my mum chose to stop practicing wicca in order to make my dad more comfortable living with and being around her. i don’t blame her for choosing this bc it’s her life and it was her choice in the end, but it was kinda weird to be raised with a mother who claimed she was wiccan and who occasionally snuck in wicca practices but never taught me anything more than that.

my dad died when i was 13, which have us a lot of religious freedom, but my mum was so out of the loop w it all and she hadn’t really practiced in so long that we didn’t know how to bring it back into our lives, which is why im making this post!!
