CHEAPER Nitori Japanese Homeware ‘hack’! 🤑

In a recent trip to JB, we found Nitori at Mid Valley Southkey and found some items we really liked!

Nitori was never on our list to buy homeware but the items looked pretty good and affordable. We were on a short trip so we didn’t get our items then, and thought to check out the SG outlet…

We realised that the prices with exchange rates made buying in JB truly a better option!

Example: We LOVED the chopsticks 🥢 (it’s a thinner finishing than usual)

SG RTP: $7.20 SGD

MY RTP: $19.90 MYR (so about $5.80SGD)

About a $2 difference just in a pair of chopsticks!

Worth it ✅

That being said, the hassle of travelling and lugging items back.. effort > savings? Up to you to decide.

But for us, I’m convinced to do another trip back and buy some items back especially when we do drive in!

And if we get lazy, we might revert back to Shopee for our finds 😂

But at least Nitori quality seems promising 👍🏼 👌🏼
