Side Gigs for Graduate Students in Education

It’s no secret that finding ways to make income during grad school can be rough. In my experience, my program recommends keeping your work hours to under 15 hours a week to remain in good standing in your coursework. That can make even just trying to survive difficult! I needed to find work that had the highest pay, lowest commitment, and relevance to the field I’m in. Or, in the case of pet care services, allowed me to work with the lowest impact on my mental health.

Here are the side gigs that I took on (simultaneously at times) that allowed me to focus on my studies while making a living.
