Summer Bucketlist Ideas

It's my oldest kids first summer break from school and I'm hoping to make it an extra special one. As much as I despise hot weather, I have nothing but magical childhood memories of summer breaks filled with long beach days, finger licking barbecues, surpise firework displays and lemonade stands with my cousins. We weren't rich growing up but my mom managed to fill our summer with so many fun activities and I'm hoping to do the same for my littles. So here's what I have planned! Fingers crossed we get to cross off most of it!

Side notes:

• if you're tight on cash, check out your local museums, zoos, aquariums, etc for free or low cost days. My mom managed to take us to so many places by taking advantage of these days.

• were located in NYC so some of these things are specific to our area.

• Legoland NY is having a buy one, get one free ticket sale that I fully intend to take advantage of and you should too.
