do you have your boyfriend's location?

My partner and I have ALWAYS shared locations, even when we were friends! But now that we're dating, it's even more important that we do have it turned on.

Here's why I like sharing locations with each other:

1. Safety: There have been times I've been traveling and I'll ask him to check in on my location. For example, uber rides alone... I like having him make sure I get from point A to B!

2. Convenience: Having each other's locations is makes it easy to check how close the other person is! Sometimes if I'm about to cook dinner, I'll check to see how far he is before I throw something in the airfryer so it doesn't get cold haha.

3. Timing/communication: If plans change or either of us is running late, having each other's location helps prevent misunderstandings!

BUT with that being said... I do think there are not so good reasons to be sharing locations. If sharing locations is bc you don't trust them, you constantly want to monitor each other, or you're controlling each other's actions/whereabouts... that's an indicator of a huge red flag for deeper issues in your relationship! Having each other's locations isn't going to really fix those and might make things more tense.
