“No.” is a complete sentence!

I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to share this affirmation with y’all today. Standing my ground, and saying no are two things that are VERY NEW to me. Yep, I am a RECOVERING people pleaser. 🙋🏼‍♀️ For as long as I can remember, I’ve placed my self worth in the hands of others. My mind just could not comprehend the difference between being assertive, and being aggressive. (Psst: assertiveness is what you wanna aim for 😉)

Today, I value myself enough to enforce my boundaries. Today, I understand that “no.” is a complete sentence! Prioritizing yourself and your mental wellbeing does not make you selfish. It does not make you a bad person. And the more you practice it, the more natural it feels!!!
