BJ’s Brewhouse

Last night, I went to BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse after bowling with a few friends. I haven’t been there in so long and it’s just as good as I remember.

My boyfriend got the special Lucky Ducky drink. It has Coconut Malibu, Mandarin Absolut, Peach Schnapps, Blue Curacao, Sweet and Sour, pineapple juice, and Starry. He loves tiki-like drinks similar to this one so it was perfect. It came in that adorable bathtub with a rubber ducky. Unfortunately, they said you have to pay an extra $10 (on top of the $14.99 drink) if you wanted to take it home, so we didn’t.

I ended up getting the special White Peach Boba-Rita. It has tequila, orange liqueur, white peach syrup, peaches, and strawberry popping bubbles. I liked it, but it was super strong so it’s definitely something you take some time to drink.

I also got the crispy chicken sandwich, which was AMAZING! I usually get the parmesan crusted chicken or a dinner like that, but I’m so glad I tried this. The chicken was cooked perfectly with a great crunch. The coleslaw was so good and super sweet so it went perfect on top of the sandwich with their honey mustard.

We ended the night off, of course, with their famous Pizookies. They are giant cookies that are made in a personal pizza pan topped with ice cream. We got them to go and mine is in my fridge right now. My go to is always the Ghirardelli Triple Chocolate cookie because it’s so rich and decadent, but you can’t go wrong with any of them.

I highly recommend BJ’s if you haven’t been there before or if you haven’t been there in a while like I have.
