Glamping in the Sahara Desert!

Morocco I’ve actually glamped in the Sahara Desert twice and I would do it again in a heartbeat. This is such a unique experience and I’m not one to cry because something is so beautiful, but this was the first time I did just that. The beauty of the sand dunes is something pictures on the internet will never capture, so I highly recommend you experience it yourself. It is indeed a trek, but it is worth it!

There are many tours out there, and there will definitely be one that works with your itinerary, whether you are leaving from Marrakech, Fes, or even Tangier. Like i mentioned, it’s quite the journey from the bigger cities (9 - 12 hours by 4x4 car). But when you get there, it’s an experience! Most tours will come with everything you need from transportation, accommodations, food, and activities, so you will be set!

A few things I recommend are the camel rides (for the experience but also so you can see more of the beauty of the sand dunes) and the sunrise. Get that wake up call from your guide because it’s a truly magical experience!
