Many people don’t know that jumping rope has so many benefits! I started jumping rope alongside my usual fitness routine in 2020 during covid and actually think it was one of the contributing factors to me losing fat during that time. Now I like to jump rope a few times a week.

An unknown benefit of jumping rope is that it supports the lymphatic system, this can in turn support our immune system. It helps our body get rid of toxins and increases circulation.

A small study showed that within 10 weeks, beginner endurance runners that jumped rope before runs noticed increased speed and agility. It is also full body workout since it engages your core, shoulders and upper body, and lower body as well.

Jump rope is a great form of cardio, it gets your heart rate up and helps with cardiovascular health, this can also be used alongside weight training as a form to help lose fat (of course your diet matters too.) Since the jumping movement puts weight on the bones, it also increases bone density!
