White tablecloth with vibes : Carbone, NYC 🍝

If you’re a foodie like me, then, you’ve definitely heard of Carbone or maybe you’ve been! If you don’t get the spicy vodka rigatoni at Carbone, you’re doing it wrong!

Although reservations are hard to come by, I highly suggest trying to get a table at Carbone. You get a white tablecloth feel and service with a hip, cool vibe all in the same restaurant. The entire night the DJ was playing old-school hip-hop. I believe they played an entire Jay-Z album!

As far as food, we were served great at the table. I dream about the focaccia to this day! I ordered the spicy vodka rigatoni. It is the most talked about food item at the restaurant, and I have to say it deserves all of its flowers.

I also ordered the lobster ravioli and I’m super surprised that this meal doesn’t get as much attention! It was just impeccable.

Along with my meal, I had a glass or two of my favorite French white .. Sancerre.

I believe the restaurant was Michelin star rated at the time of my visit, but they no longer have their star. But that does not take away from my experience or what your experience could be!

To sum it all up, I’ll love a white tablecloth experience! I love dining in luxury and having full attentive service and quality food! But sometimes it can be a bit boring with the jazz playing in the background, so I love that this restaurant was still fresh, young and hip. I love that they played music of the times and you felt a really good vibe at the establishment. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
