Luxury camping in the Moroccan Desert 🐪🇲🇦

An amazing day spent in the Sahara Desert followed by luxury glamping ✨⛺️ here are some tips:

1️⃣ We booked a tour/private car while we were still in Marrakech. We hired a private driver for the 8 of us and had a comfortable sized van take us. ⚠️ the drive is 9hrs!⚠️ so keep that in mind and plan accordingly. We left very early in the morning and stopped for lunch along the way. We got to the desert about an hour before sunset.

2️⃣ The desert tour/glamping we did was the Azawad Luxury Desert Camp @azawad_group on IG. It was fantastic! They were very professional, spoke English, great food and entertainment and the tents were super nice and truly luxurious for being in the middle of the desert lol.

3️⃣ We went mid June where the sun wasn’t as sweltering but it was still very hot. So make sure you have your spf, light loose clothing (pants recommended for camel riding) a head scarf to protect your scalp/hair from the sun and sand storms, sunglasses to protect your eyes from sand, and most importantly WATER! 💧💧💧
