Annoying Things: Dating Edition

Some of the things that really grind my gears when it comes to dating? If I’ve taken the time to fill out my profile with details like my age, where I’m from, or what I do for work, read it before starting a conversation. Is that really too much to ask? It’s frustrating to answer the same basic questions that are already public. It just shows laziness and that you’re clearly not paying attention/ don't care.

I can’t stand when someone suggests that the first date should be at their place or my place. 🚩 Big red flag. That screams, "I’m not interested in getting to know you, I just want one thing." If that’s your first move, we’re done before we even started.

Another major annoyance? Low-effort conversations. Stop with the typical 20-questions game. Please! 😒 Send a meme, tell a funny story, or share a random fact or something. I want to connect, not sit in small talk purgatory.

And unsolicited photos/videos? Immediate block. If I didn’t ask for it, I don’t want it, and trust me, that’s not the way to win me over.
