Book 📚 Summary:

Okay so this was my very first Amish book read and when I tell you I felt like I was reading a soap opera script I mean it lol. Baby these characters had all the drama and the tea! Jolene, lawd Jolene had a time! Not only was her mother as neglectful as they came but she was taking her bonnet and running around in these streets with an English man like she ain’t have kids and duties at home to attend to. Mama said eff yall im bout to get my groove back and left Jolene. Jolene was super naive which i thought was pretty good for her character. However Jolene stood on business baby cause wasn’t nobody going to play in her face about her brother period! Now Amos (that’s who she was crushing on but both of them are engaged to other people 🍵😏) he was annoying me when it came to her because he acted like he had no idea he had feelings for her. I mean friend zone my girl Jo and was engaged to a whole different person who was playing in his face anyway 🤦🏽‍♀️. But he got it together and her didn’t play about her brother either ☺️. Jolene’s family was trash 🚮 but she came out on top in the end. I loved that for her. This book had all the drama a romance could have and surprisingly i didn’t miss the spice lol. I thought i would but the innocence of it all made the book as good as it was for me. I say all this to say….. READ THE BOOK ☺️
