What I wore in Milan

On my trip to Italy last March I spent a day in Milan; in other words, I had one shot to dress to impress. I opted for classic pieces - a tweed blazer, pleated trousers, and leather loafers - but freshened it up for spring with a pop of color. I had just bought the blazer and loafers in Rome the day before and was eager to style them. In spite of my bright blonde hair, a fellow US tourist actually mistook me for a local - the ultimate compliment!
