Did you know it takes about 1000 donors a day to maintain a stable blood supply in the pnw?

today I would like to share some information about why you should donate too!

1. It’s easy! Donating blood only takes about 15mins and donating platelets is usually about 2.5 hrs.

2. You get to find out your blood type, it’s like a mini health checkup, and some studies suggest that it helps improve your overall health (and what’s hurting you from believing this even if it’s not true)

3. You never know when people in your community, you, or a loved one is going to need blood.

4. Free Snacks every time you donate! And Bloodworks Northwest also does giveaways and gift cards during certain periods of time!
