Must have for embroidery 🪡

One of the process that I struggled with when I first started embroidery is tracing the template onto the cloth. Tried different methods such as

🔹Water soluble pen🔹

It is cheap but the strokes are always so thick and if you leave it for long, it’s very difficult to get the ink off.

🔹Carbon paper🔹

It can be quite ‘dirty’ cos the black soot will get copied on the entire cloth. You cannot make mistake while tracing cos non-erasable.

🔹Water soluble sheet🔹

You can draw your design on the sheet and see it together and soak in water after you completed your design. But your work may get patchy.

Until one day I came across the Pilot FriXion pens!! These pens are so good 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 and I highly recommend because it’s easy to draw. Lines are always clean and you can draw the tiniest details!

Any mistakes can be ‘erased’ by heat. You can use the hair dryer to ‘erase’. The ink will just fade off.
