Best omakase experience in SG for $200++

Shinji by Kanesaka is undoubtedly my favourite go to omakase in Singapore. In fact, I have tried one of their outlets in Japan but Shinji at Carlton hotel is still by far the best.

Ishi, the head chef is my favourite chef that is so skillful and makes one of the best sushi. Make a reservation under him if you want the best experience!

Known for their Edo-style sushi, our go to is the yuki, 15 pieces for $200 (before gst and service charge). The total dining time is about 1.5 hours per session.

Each piece is like a piece of art, made to perfection with their intricate hands. Every piece was super fresh and even the rice used was of super good quality which really complemented the fish. Even the seaweed used was warm and crispy which is difficult to find at most sushi places in Singapore.

Our meal ended with a choice of ice cream and I definitely have to get the matcha. Even their ice cream is handmade to perfection. Hands down one of the best matcha ice cream yums. Drooling thinking about it.
