SYIP CAFE: Farrer Park OR Luzerne 🤤🤭

Hello all!! I’ve finally visited the new SYIP outlet at Luzerne Building and decided that I should do a review and compare the two outlets since I have previously visited the one at Farrer Park too.

SYIP @ Luzerne Building

• located at 72 Bendemeer Rd, #01 -05, Singapore 339941

• It is industrial themed cafe concept and uses a lot of natural lighting for its cafe.

• More towards the concrete color scheme

• This outlet has a bigger space to cater to more people as compared to the Farrer Park outlet

• Main food items where burgers, pasta and rice bowl: We tried the Breakfast Burger, Spiced Cheese Chicken Katsu Burger, Mentaiko Shrimp Burger, Mentaiko Tater Tots and Shimeiji Mushroom Fritters

• I tried the Mentaiko Shrimp Burger as my main dish and I felt that it was too salty for my liking (the patty specifically)

• I tried my friends Breakfast Burger and it was pretty good! (The scrambled egg were fluffy and the bacons were thick slices.)

• The tater tots were also not really crispy and I prefer the one at the Farrer Park outlet. (But Farrer Park outlet only serve the normal tater tots flavor with garlic aioli!! so depends what you wanna try out!!) ☺️

• If you’re going with your friends, I totally recommend yall to order a few to share. Don’t order 1 person 1 mains because the portion is filling!!

SYIP @ Farrer Park

• located at 79 Owen Rd, Singapore 218895

• The cafe is definitely smaller than the Bendemeer outlet and it has a more cosy vibe to it

• It uses mainly whites as its cafe theme here with a touch of wooden furnishing here and there

• The main food there were the pastas and rice bowls: For me I tried the Ikura Kombu Capellini (pasta), Creamy Chicken Scramble Egg Croissant and Tater Tots with Garlic Aioli

• If you like cold dishes, Ikura Kombu Capellini might be the one for you!! I personally tried it and like the taste of it!

• My favourite dish from this outlet was their Tater Tots with Garlic Aioli. Its a must get if you are visiting the store!!

Final thoughts, I wouldn’t say the food were really “wow” but I really enjoyed the environment as the staffs were really friendly and if you want to avoid peak hour (avoid the queue mainly), you should reach the store before 12pm!!! Especially on weekend where the queue can get pretty long ~ There were also many different spots in the Bendemeer outlet for you to snap so IG photos as compared to the Farrer Park outlet. (hehe)
