Ungatekeeping Authentic and Affordable Viet Food🇻🇳

Hands down to one of the best Vietnamese food 🙌🏼 This shop is run by Vietnamese, so I guess its safe to say that its authentic!

What we ordered:

1️⃣ Phở đặc biệt - Special beef noodles $9.90

I was quite surprised that the pho was less than $10, and it was packed with pork slices, beef tendons and beef balls (?) It was DAMN WORTH IT!

2️⃣ Gỏi Cuốn (Fresh spring roll) $5.90

Y’know if the fresh spring rolls are gud, means the shop serves gud fud! Anyways, this was my favourite dish! Initially, I was contemplating between the fresh and fried spring rolls, cause the pics of the fresh spring rolls looks thicc on google reviews. Plus the pictures on google review didn’t look very appetising. But wow, when it came, the taste of mint and the rest of the ingredients blew me away!

3️⃣ Thịt Gà Xiên Nướng Tiêu (Grilled chicken with pepper) $8.90

I’ve got to say that the portion was more than I expected. The sauce was the highlight (for me), it tasted like Tom-Yum, and it went really well with the grilled chicken.

4️⃣ Giò Heo Chiên (Deep fried pork legs) $14.90

This was sooo sinful, BUT SUPER GOOD! 🫶🏻 The pairing with the preserved vegetables and their sauce was 💯, I’m not a fan of preserved vegetables, but wow! Dont get me wrong, the pork legs on its own was great too! But the pairing really elevated the taste✨

We’ve gotten Lychee Tea ( $4.90) and Iced Milk Coffee ($4.90) too. The bf enjoyed their Lychee Tea, but I thought that it was abit odd, as there was this perfume-y aftertaste. Whereas the Iced milk tea was 🙂‍↕️, there’s something about Vietnamese coffee that makes me wanna get more !

Overall, we both approve of this shop!!! We’ll come back here when we crave for Viet food! 🙌🏼✨
