Do this before the summer is over!

🛶 Kayaking by the skyline is EPIC, and I highly recommend doing it before summer is over. Here is everything you need to know:

👖 Bring a change of pants/underwear, and maybe a small towel. I got wet when sitting down in the kayak.

🏊‍♀️ Some of the boathouses require that you know how to swim, even though you get a life jacket.

⏱️ The time limit was 20min. It sounds short, but it’s well worth it.

🛟 You have a designated area where you’re allowed to kayak.

📍 The Downtown Boathouse at Pier 26

Saturdays and Sundays: 10am-4:30pm

Tuesdays and Thursdays: 5:30pm-7pm

📍 LIC Community Boathouse

Saturdays: 12pm-5pm

📍Kayak Dock - Brooklyn Bridge Park Boathouse

*Advance registration recommended. You can try to walk up but it’s not guaranteed that there will be any spots available.

Wednesday and Thursdays: 5 pm-7pm

Saturdays: 10am-3pm

Sundays are for families only: 12-2:30pm

📍 Manhattan Community Boathouse - Pier 96

Monday and Tuesday: 5:30pm-7:30pm

Saturday and Sunday: 1pm-6pm

📍 Red Hook Boaters

Sundays: 1pm-4pm
