Introduction 🥰

Hi everyone! I thought I’d introduce myself on this platform ☺️

My name is Kate! I graduated from UC Davis in 2022 and am currently in my gap years and applying to medical schools this cycle.

During undergrad I was involved in the symphony orchestra, Kappa Gamma Delta (prehealth sorority), and the Willow Clinic, which serves those experiencing homelessness in Sacramento. I also drove the buses for Unitrans which was a TON of fun!

So far, I’ve spent my gap years traveling, working as a medical assistant, and teaching in a high school band program!

I initially started social media just to have my friends help keep me accountable for studying for the MCAT, but it has since grown to so much more. I absolutely love the medstagram community and all the amazing advice and insight that has come from it! I hope to grow a similar community here on Lemon8 💛
