SG | now there’s strawberry matcha cake tart 🥹

came at 12.30pm (the opening time), and a long queue has already formed outside the shop. it has very limited space, only accommodating up to 4 groups, hence we have to takeaway the pastries. however, it has a really cute, pinky interior🩷 and the pastries are all so aesthetically placed on display~

I recently drank the best strawberry matcha at @springcoffee, and i’m really glad to come across this strawberry matcha cake tart by @theflourdepartment 🥹🥹 a total replica of the drink, this cake comes with 7 layers of goodness: strawberry cream, matcha crunch, matcha sponge cake, matcha terrine, mochi, strawberry jam, and the vanilla tart! despite the different layers and textures, the flavours blend very well with each other and the taste is exactly the same as the drink 🍓🍵 surprisingly, this cake was not too sweet, not too jelat and i love the intense matcha/strawberry flavour. i enjoyed every bite of this 💚

this is my first time trying a shiopan, and i must say that this shiopan has set a really high expectation of shiopan in my mind. we asked the staff to heat it up for us (recommended to heat it up and eat it immediately💛) it has a really crispy crust on the outside, soft and fluffy bread on the inside. very buttery, with a tinge of salty taste 🥹 i love it so much…

Dark Chocolate Truffle Mochi Salt Roll [$3.20]

this is good as well, and definitely recommend for all chocolate lovers. slightly sweet on the inside because of the melted chocolate, and love the chewy texture because of the mochi. but i would prefer the original one, as compared to this.

we didn’t get to try the truffle salt roll, as it was sold out within 30minutes🥲 overall, we love everything that we’ve ordered, and we validated the hype of this space. wish i could dine in one day, and try their cute bagels 🫶🏼
