Tips for sending your infant to daycare?

My maternity leave is up in four weeks. I have to send my baby to daycare. Luckily, I got these eight beautiful (and tough) weeks with him. Sadly, it was unpaid and we are about to run out of our savings. Neither my husband’s job nor my own allows either of us to stay at home. I’m so emotional. I know she will be okay, but I keep reading about how this could ruin our attachment parenting and family keeps telling me they’d never send their kid to daycare and how I’m going to miss so much and making me feel awful. They don’t say it to my husband though. 🙄

Any tips so I don’t feel like the worst mom ever?
