We bought a 31 years old resale flat!

Hellllooooo Zesties!

This is our first post after being a silent reader hehe.

We did it! This is our first home and possibly the last one (read on to find out why).

First of all, we knew we will go for resale flat and these are the reasons:

1) Shorter waiting time - Can’t wait to move out

2) Convenience - Can choose somewhere near the mrt

3) Bigger space - since older flats is much bigger compared to new BTO format

Down side:

1) Major renovation $$$ (changed all the windows(had those with louvers), hack the tiled wall, redo both toilets, hack and redo door frames

2) Walls with pimples texture

We spent quite a lot on renovation since this is a pretty old house, (which we will be sharing on the next post). Do look forward to the home makeover ✨

We bought this house back then 3 years ago for a fairly reasonable price compared to the current market rate now.

We think we wouldn’t move house because we spent so much on renovation + we love that it’s walking distance to Mrt & the big space for our kid(s) to grow in.
