One of my favorite ways to transistion my wardrobe from winter to spring is by adding pops of color! I’m not usually a colorful person but when you have a neutral base it’s fun to throw in a pop of color to help elevate the look for spring!
I’ve always been a yellow girl but it can’t be a tricky color to style if it is not the right shade of yellow. As soon as I saw this muted yellow cardigan, I knew I had to have it and thought of all the ways I could style it to make it the statement pieces of any outfit.

My next way to incorporate color is by choosing colored bottoms. I find it harder to wear color on a top as it is by your face and I don’t love certain colors on me. When you wear it on the bottom it is not as distracting from the rest of the outfit. I was going on a walk to the beach but wanted to look out together so I added a pair of pink sport shorts to a plain white tee shirt and white sweatshirt!

If you are looking for ways to elevate your outfit for spring I would recommend adding a pop of color somewhere in your outfit. Whether it’s a cardigan, purse, shorts or jeans, they all help you look more on trend for the season! 🌸🌺
