So what’s tosokchon samyetang ?

Tosokchon Samgyetang (Tosokchon Ginseng Chicken Soup) is a nourishing tonic health food made with special recipe of ginseng and other replenishing ingredients.

They had two options of both black and the original ginseng chicken. I went for the black ginseng chicken to try out something new and ordered their seafood pancake as well with some choya for drinks. The aesthetics of the place was very old style and the soup was really hearty and replenishing for your body especially if you are in korea during their winter time, this is the place to go for some shiok warm soup. Their chicken was so silky and tender as well together with the rice inside the chicken wows.

Ginseng korean black chicken 10/10

- Silky and tender chicken

- Soup was hearty and replenishing

- Could easily be shared with 2 pax

Seafood Pancake 7/10

( 16,000 won )

- Lots of mini prawns and oysters

- Dough is thick and not really pan fried

- Can be shared as well as the portion is big

Plum wine 7/10

- Alcohol taste was strong 💯

- Alittle bitter for my liking

- Worth the money

They also gave each customer a shot of ginseng liquor , i only tried a sip and damn the liquor + ginseng taste was so damn strong 🙂 But also you could drink the shot of ginseng liquor on your own preference before/ during or after your meal. They also provided kimchi and radish too. I would really recommend to head there specifically because it was really too good. 👌🏻🍲

It was just 10 mins away from the subway, easily to be found.
