New Wine Bar Alert: Sogno Toscano!

I came across a video about this new wine bar and Italian restaurant in Santa Monica and had to go. I didn’t realize they had literally just opened and were brand new to the Santa Monica community!

They are a cute Italian wine bar and market place that has the cutest date night ambiance or is great for a girls night. They have a food menu and an extensive wine menu to choose from.

All of their products, both in their restaurant and their market are imported from Italy, so you get the truly Italian experience.

The owners and everyone working at this cafe are so nice and were so accommodating, offering us wine when it took them a bit of time to find a table for us and when we had a little wine mix up!

I went for a girls’ night and everyone ordered a glass of orange, rose, or white wine (~$19) and they were all delicious!We ordered a second round and it was all so yummy!

We started with their meat and cheese charcuterie board ($55) to nibble on as our food came out. There was a wide variety of meats and cheeses that I had never tried before. The board was definitely on the expensive side, but we split it and it was a good addition.

I got the Margherita Pizza Romano ($25) and split it with a friend. This isn’t on the menu, but they told us it was a new addition and I had to try it! It was more like a flatbread than a pizza to be honest, but was still delicious!

Overall, the ambiance was good and I would honestly probably only go back for wine, the charcuterie, and the vibes. Their menu wasn’t really dinner oriented and was definitely expensive for what it was!
