(MORE) FAVORITE BOOK-TO-SCREEN ADAPTATIONS

Sharing some more of the book-to-movie adaptations that have stuck with me! I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned it here before, but I’m currently pursuing a masters in film and adaptation is something that im very much drawn to as a practice and art. These are a few of the more recent ones I’ve loved.

The Summer I Turned Pretty: This took the internet by storm and I can see why. I became so obsessed with this one when the first season came out and I’ve yet to watch season 2 but I need to prioritize it!

Eileen: I actually didn’t love this book, so I was pleasantly surprised that I loved the film and then performances by the leading women.

Little Women: Greta Gerwig is such an inspiration to me, and this adaptation is just all things cozy and wonderful to me.
