A weekend in Long Island

Ever since my uncle passed I’ve been spending a lot of time with my aunt on the weekends. I really enjoyed being in Long Island because it’s a break from the crazy city and I’m able to spend time with my family.

The first thing I did when I got there is we went to my family’s Orchard Richards in northport Long Island. It’s on polaski rd.

Then we went to Robert Moses, where my uncle loved to go. My aunt and I walked along the beach. This was very nice and therapeutic, but also emotional, because we felt he was there with us.

The last thing we did before I left was get a matching tattoo. My aunt and I have always wanted a matching tattoo, but we never knew what was right. We obviously knew that getting a matching tattoo in my uncles honor was the right thing to do so she got it on her ring finger and I got it on my pointer finger.
