I mean i did too but for now i notice when you really know how to highlight ur face the way shape of your face is a really game changer ! Highlighting is especially important when you're contouring because it brings the light back into your face. But once again, you don't want to overdo it. Most people slap on too much highlighter and look like the Tin Man. So a little is better. Move on to the tips :

1. CHEECKBONE

Highlighting cheek bones can lengthen and thin your face. Dazzling high bronze cheeks will make you look hot and sexy.

2. BROW BONE

To fake the look of just-shaped brows, simply apply a few light dots of highlighter underneath your browbone and use the warmth of your finger to tap that into the highest point of your arch.

3. CUPIDS BOW

The “V” of your Cupid's bow is also a great spot to pop on some highlighter; it creates the appearance of fuller lips. Softly apply it with your finger. When the light catches, your lips will look especially plumped.

4. NOSE

To make your nose appear longer, you should apply highlighter all the way down the bridge of your nose, right to the tip. Since you have a square face it helps a lot to achieve a sharp feature.
