Halloween Oreo Balls Recipe

Ingredients:

1 package (14 oz) Oreo cookies

1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened

12 oz white chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate, melted (use white chocolate if you want to add food coloring)

Food coloring (orange, green, purple, or black for Halloween)

Halloween-themed sprinkles or edible eyes for decoration

Instructions:

Prepare the Oreo Mixture:

Crush the entire package of Oreo cookies (including the filling) in a food processor until finely ground. If you don't have a food processor, you can place the cookies in a ziplock bag and crush them with a rolling pin.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the softened cream cheese. Mix well until fully combined and smooth.

Shape the Oreo Balls:

Using your hands or a small cookie scoop, roll the Oreo-cream cheese mixture into 1-inch balls.

Place the Oreo balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Chill the Oreo balls in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up.

Melt the Chocolate:

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate in 20-30 second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth. If using white chocolate, add food coloring to make Halloween-themed colors (orange, green, purple, etc.).

Dip the Oreo Balls:

Once the Oreo balls are firm, dip each one into the melted chocolate using a fork or dipping tool. Let the excess chocolate drip off.

Place the coated Oreo balls back onto the parchment-lined baking sheet.

Decorate:

While the chocolate is still wet, decorate the Oreo balls with Halloween sprinkles, edible eyes, or any spooky decorations you prefer.

If you're making different colors, you can drizzle additional colored chocolate over the balls for a cool effect (e.g., orange drizzle on white Oreo balls).

Chill and Serve:

Place the decorated Oreo balls in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes to set the chocolate.

Once firm, they are ready to serve.

Total Time:

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Chill Time: 30 minutes

These Halloween Oreo Balls are a perfect combination of creamy, chocolatey goodness with a spooky twist! They make a great party treat and are easy to customize with different decorations for a festive Halloween look. #halloweenfoodideas #halloween #halloweensnacks #oreoballs #funtreats
