Im born & raised in ATLANTA! I love my city and the culture!! These are some of my favorite restaurants that I visit as often as possible!!

Mr. Everything’s has a variety of items on their menu but the yellow rice dish is my favorite!! It comes with grilled onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, broccoli, spinach, diced tomatoes, 3 different cheeses, your choice of meat and a sauce! 🤤

Dat fire Jerk Chicken is the best Jamaican food in the city! Every time I go to this restaurant the food is amazing. Every single time. I usually order the brown stew chicken meal with cabbage , rice and peas and plaintain w/ cocoa bread but if I’m in a rush I’ll grab a beef patty with cocoa bread! 😮‍💨

Tom Dick & Hank has a special place in my heart because I never tasted mustard bbq sauce until I ate there and I won’t eat any other kind of bbq sauce anymore. They’re bbq is delicious, they have a variety of bbq sauces, their grilled veggies are also one of my favorite sides. They also have good drinks! 🤭

Escobar restaurant and tapas is my favoriteee place in the city to hang out!!! I discovered them while working at OLG, i went one day after work and it’s been my spot since! When I’m looking for something to do, 9/10 I’m going to Escobar! It’s always good vibes, good music, beautiful ppl, good drinks, and the food is A1. The last time I went I had crab cakes and lemon drops! 🍋

Grindhouse killer burgers is one of the best burger spots in Atlanta. The burgers are super fresh and delicious, you can make your own or order one of their signature burgers! Since I’m from the south, I had to try their fried green tomatoes and they quickly became my fav side! They also have yummy alcoholic milkshakes.

IKEA, most ppl don’t even know they have a restaurant but they do as well as a cafe/bistro! I’m a little biased because I’ve worked there twice! At IKEA we’re called boomerangs 🪃 but anyway!! The restaurant is amazing, it’s cafeteria style and it has a variety of dishes but the one that will always be there and the most popular are the Swedish meatballs!! People literally drive hours away to come and eat at the restaurant! The Swedish meatballs are iconic served with seasonal veggies , mashed potatoes and lingonberry jam!! If you don’t eat Swedish meatballs they also have chicken and veggie meatballs as well!! They have desserts, my favorite is the almond cake 😫 it had me in a headlock while I was working there! They also serve a delicious breakfast! The bistro serves hotdogs, cinnamon rolls, pizza, and frozen yogurt!

Taqueria del Sol is a hidden gem! My aunt took me here years ago and I’ve been going ever since. They have a simple one page menu but they do offer limited time and new items often! My go to is always the fish tacos and shrimp corn chowder! It’s always delicious!! They have special hours so check the hrs before going! It’s nice to dine in and sit on the patio, even in the winter they have heaters outside! There also may be a wait, this place is extremely popular!!

The Varsity is very nostalgic for me. My dad used to take me here all the time growing up! “What’ll you have, what’ll you have???” IYKYK OKURR!! They’re menu is very straight forward. They have hot dogs and burgers that you can customize with chili, cheese, onions, etc. Its always good to me, idc about the grease! Lol my daddy would always order the frozen orange drink, it was his favorite. He would always get us a few scoops of ice cream from the ice cream counter too, butter pecan me please!! RIP daddy 🗣️

Fellinis Pizza is the best pizza in Atlanta. The slices are freaking huge and the pizza is always amazing. I don’t even like pizza but they’re pizza is the best!!! I only ever order slices here bc if I get a whole pizza I will devour it alone and I don’t need that in my life. Lol

Toscano Ristorante Italiano, I discovered this place on my birthday this year. I was leaving MAC in Atlantic station and walked right pass and the aroma coming from there drew me in! The service and the food was amazing! I wasn’t starving and was supposed to go out later so I ordered an app and a salad, which was calamari and Caprese salad. Let me tell you something this meal was so good. I love calamari, like anytime I see it on a menu I’m ordering it. The calamari and the tomato sauce it came with were so good 😮‍💨 the Caprese salad was also delicious and the drinks are great too! 10/10.
