Steps:

1. Start with clean, dry hair. Comb your hair straight down over your forehead to where you want your bangs to fall.

2. Hold a small section of hair between your index and middle fingers. This section should be the width you want your bangs to be.

3. Use a pair of sharp scissors to carefully cut the hair straight across. It’s better to start with a longer length and gradually cut more if needed.

4. Release the section of hair and move on to the next. Cut each section at the same length to ensure even bangs.

5. Once you’ve cut all the sections, use your scissors to create texture and wispy ends. Hold your scissors vertically and snip into the ends of your bangs at an angle.

6. Style your new bangs with a blow dryer or flat iron, if desired.
