Dinner at Gordon Ramsay's Bread Street Kitchen 🔥

You're an idiot sandwich if you don't know the legendary Gordon Ramsay! 🤪 As someone who watches Masterchef and Hell's Kitchen all the time, I always wonder how good is the food they cook on the show and what does Ramsay-standard food look like.

I was so excited to find that he has a restaurant here in Singapore called Bread Street Kitchen, located in The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands! So we made a reservation there (do book a month earlier to be safe) for my boyfriend's birthday 🥳

We love the industrial-warehouse theme and the whole space was a blend between vintage and modern design. Dimly lit with black-white and brass accented decor, it is the perfect place for date nights! 🥰

Since beef wellington is regarded by many as Ramsay's signature dish, that is basically all we ordered. The Beef Wellington is $160 for 2 pax and we had to wait around 45 mins - but it was all worth it! 🤤

The pastry crust was crispy and complements the soft tender beef tenderloin and the truffle brie mashed potato is a perfect addition to your spoon. Dip it in the red wine jus and mmm the whole thing melts in your mouth - heavenly! 🥹 2 huge pieces for each person was surprisingly very filling, so believe me when I say don't order anything else if it's just the 2 of you! The couple beside us who got an appetizer + 1 more main ended up bringing home their leftovers.

While waiting for the beef wellington we got hungry so we snacked on their Bread Basket with Butter which was only $4, and sipped on our drinks: Pimm's O'clock and (I think?) Endless Summer at $17 and $19 respectively, which tastes okay but not memorable - you can maybe try their signature cocktails instead! 😌

On our reservation, I put a note that this is to celebrate my bf's birthday - so at the end of our meal they brought out a slice of black forest cake with a candle. But what we thought was a really sweet gesture is that the staffs actually signed a birthday card for us 🥹

Overall, I would rate this place 10/10 - definitely Masterchef-worthy, would recommend for special occasions with loved ones 💯
