My Internship Experience at Shopee 🧡

Hi gurlies 🥰 A while ago, I shared my experience on How I Landed My Internship at Shopee. I realised I didn’t actually tell you guys how it went, what I did, etc so today, let me share with you the details of my internship experience at Shopee! 🧡

My internship was for 3.5 months, and I worked under the Business Development department, specifically under the Performance Management team. Our team was pretty small, just the 8 of us and there were 2 subteams: Performance Management itself and Education. I involved myself in both teams, whereby my day-to-day jobscope was on analysing Shopee sellers’ performance and also assisting in the content development of Shopee’s internal e-learning courses.

Not only did I perform my day-to-day tasks, I also joined events such as Shopee’s Raya Celebration and Interns Engagement Session. In fact, I was given the opportunity to emcee the Interns Engagement session, and I worked under the Program team - to develop the program agenda!

Overall, I developed multiple skills during my internship (such as Analytical skills, communication, teamwork, etc) and had a lot of fun! I won’t lie, it isn’t easy working in such a fast-paced company and e-commerce generally, but it taught me so much in a short period of time!

I would definitely encourage you guys to seek internship at companies like these, which gives great exposure and provides a steep learning curve to interns! 🤩
