Underrated Destination: Turkey | Things to Do

Turkey is one of the most underrated yet beautiful places to tick off your next travel bucket list. My fam and I went on a 10D7N trip to Turkey with EU Holidays at a reasonable price of $2688+ with all meals included but excluding optional tours, tips, etc. It was super fuss-free because everything had been nicely planned and all we needed to do was enjoy. Some highlights of places to go:

🕌 Hagia Sophia @ Istanbul: Situated in the capital, Istanbul, this church-turned-mosque is an iconic spot. Its architecture is one of a kind and the interior is just so! beautiful! The painting details on the dome are amazing and even if you’re not a history or culture buff, this UNESCO site is a must-see.

🚜 Jeep Safari Tour @ Cappadocia: Price is steep at US90 per pax but since we were there already, our mindset was to ‘just try’. Each jeep could sit up to 4 pax and we were driven by a local to visit photo spots where only such smaller vehicles could access. The routes we took were steep and they will intentionally make your ride bumpy so this one’s for the adventure-seekers. Many good photo opportunities at the natural cave formations with our cool ride.

☁️ Travertine Terraces @ Pamukkale: Known as cotton castle, the white hills are natural minerals with thermal water flowing down each layer. Feels almost unreal. On the other side, there’s designated spot for people to soak their feet or take a bath.
