When I first started my journey in March I was sooo terrified when I took my first progress picture. Now when I take them my face lights up seeing the progress.
You have to trust the process.
Pointers to get you started losing weight from a realistic mom of 5.
1. Just start: If that’s walking 30 minutes a day. Lifiting weights to a 20 minute YouTube video. Anything. When I first started I use to do YouTube dumbbell workouts and sometimes I only lasted 10 minutes but to me it was progress.
2. You won’t lose weight if your eating doesn’t change. My weakness was definitely cookies. I started tracking my calories on #myfitnesspal and it helped me see just how much I was overeating.
3. Ditch the scale and buy yourself a tape measure. The bendy kind. Start measuring yourself every 2 weeks. The scale might not move but your favorite jeans will definitely start fitting better!
