UV 8

I haven’t been in the sun in so long because we had so many heat advisories here in Florida so I’ve just been staying in my apartment journaling or watching series.

unfortunately, I started getting really white because my mom side of the family are all German and Dutch so when I don’t see son, I get really white to the point where you would probably have to wear sunglasses or I would blind you😂

I know I’m not right now because I have been tan for so long getting any shade lighter than my tinted moisturizer is really pale to me.

thankfully, though my dad side of the family is Portuguese so I get a color really fast, especially in the UV that we have right now. I know for a fact if I stayed all day today, I would be almost black again just because of how strong the sun is, but I decided to just go for an hour to get some sun and a little bit of color.

I don’t really burn easily, which I’m really grateful for but with the sun if you stay in it for a whole day, you will definitely be burnt. even when the UV is around four, if you don’t use sunscreen and you’re not someone that often goes into the sun, you will be crisp😂

I don’t really use sunscreen because they have so much chemicals in them and I don’t spend 11 hours in the sun anymore like I used to so I decided to go today just for an hour and have 30 minutes on each side of my body so that I can evenly tan.

as you can see, I look a little pink in the photo, but I can guarantee it will be gone by this evening 😂

I arrived there around 2 PM and I left just after 3 PM because the UV was still eight, and that was a great time to get a quick little tan, but not burn.

There were so many people on the beach today too, and I’m not a big fan of being surrounded by multiple people, which is why I usually go at sunrise- and luckily I live walking distance from the beach so I can just jump in the ocean and then go home😂
