Saoi Hari Raya Campaign Shoot | Behind The Scenes📷

Modelling has been a part time gig of mine that I do from time to time, especially when my favourite local brand calls, I attend. In this case, it's saoi pronounced as "/say/". This local brand is owned by the non-other classy entrepreneur, Wan Nur Syaira.

The entire crew was incredibly gracious when I accepted their request to participate in their Raya campaign, and they prepared all the models in advance with mood boards and some direction. On the actual day, we all carpooled to the filming location after the casting call began at 6:30 am. The trip was quite amusing because the road was very rocky and covered with mud, which caused the car to skid. Of course, everyone was safe.

All the props were set up by the team just how they had imagined, and it was gorgeous! There were so many gorgeous flowers everywhere and not to mention, the start of the show - THE BOAT!

There are two baju kurung Kedah and two baju kurung klasik in this raya collection's first edition, and I'm totally smitten with the delicate floral pattern embroidered on the fabric. In all honesty, this is the type of baju kurung I would wear on a regular basis and not only for Hari Raya.

Words cannot express how much fun I had on this shoot or how at ease the entire team made us all feel. We had a lot of fun together, and I would love to do more photo shoots like this one in the future. Special thanks to the entire team as well as the talented photographer, Jessie, who created photographs that appear like they belong in a fairy tale. Since that day, I have made some wonderful new friends that I will treasure.
