📌Ingredients
⭐️Bread Pudding:
🔹3 cups whole milk
🔹2 cups heavy cream
🔹vanilla extract
🔹1 ½ cups white sugar
🔹2 eggs
🔹French loaf bread, toasted and cut into cubes
⭐️Vanilla Sauce:
🔹 1 ¼ cups whole milk
🔹2 tablespoons butter
🔹1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
🔹Sugar
🔹vanilla extract
📌 Steps:
⭐️ Bread pudding
🔹 Preheat the oven to 350°F (175° C).
🔹 Tear up the bread slices into small to medium sized pieces.
🔹 In a large mixing bowl, whisk in the milk, heavy cream, sugar and vanilla extract until well combined. 🔹Add the cubed pieces of bread into a container.
🔹 Gently pour the mixture into the container . 🔹Allow the bread pudding mixture to rest and soak in the custard while the oven preheats to 350 F (177 C) for 20 - 30 minutes.
🔹Bake the custard bread pudding for 30-45 minutes.
⭐️Vanilla sauce
🔹Mix all-purpose flour with sugar and pour in the milk.
🔹Cook under low heat and bring in the butter and add vanilla extract.
🔹Gradually stir until the sauce thickens
🔹 once thickened, set aside and let cool
⭐️ Pour the vanilla sauce on top of the warm bread pudding.
