How to Spot an Eldest Daughter

This post is a bit more vulnerable as I briefly mention my emotional burdens as the eldest daughter of an immigrant household. I’m 23 and feel like I’m still learning what it means to live for myself without feeling guilty or selfish. The experience can be quite lonely at times since it’s hard for me to even admit these thoughts to the closest of people in fear that I’ll disappoint them by showing them a version of me that isn’t put together. Does anyone relate or can relate? Any advice, encouragement, or tips? 💛
