1: the unseen condition

Hello there,

Its a Sunday afternoon, I am writing this literally right after I barfed and am currently lying on the sofa with a pounding head. My name is Iris, and I am a 28 year old woman who has been suffering with almost daily headaches, or I should say migraine, since 2020.

Any form of headache has always been an unseen condition which not many people can understand the severity of because it is invisible to the naked eye. Only the affected and the loved ones of them can understand how excruciating it can be.

I would like to use this platform to journal, record and share about my experiences as well as my current journey to recovery of what seems to be a condition with no causes or permanent cure.

I hope this can bring comfort to anyone who is suffering the same, as this condition can be brutally impairing to our quality of life, both physically and mentally.

P.S. Just a lil bout me, there is a special place in my heart for South Korea. Not Kpop or idols or anything like that, but just a comfort place for me and it is my goal to be there at least once every year. I love travelling there and hopefully Japan very soon too, if my pain allows.
