How to choose a GOOD luggage (for real)!

I decided to give some tips on how to choose a good luggage as I was deciding if i should splurge on a good brand like Rimowa (lowest at $1.5-$1.8k for a large-size check in. I did some research on the best luggage and chance upon July luggage.

Upon looking at the real thing in the store (The Planet Traveller and Takashimaya), I didn’t like the weight and the wheels of the luggage. So I did some research and carried most of the luggages in the shop/department store.

Results of my research as posted in pictures. Most importantly, there was a luggage fair in Taka and I did the wheels rolling on the carpet (very kiasu but yes i did it). I found out the most amazing thing that a lot of companies don’t consider wheel size for larger luggage.

Note: The reason why I was looking for a luggage was because my taobao luggage which served me very well was not well liked by my husband who complained that it’s super difficult to roll (especially when we had to handle 1 stroller with 2 running toddlers).
