things i do to make my desk setup seem bigger!

hi friends!

as someone with a small desk, i often times find myself feeling sad about how my setup looks. it can be hard to decorate a small setup without things looking cluttered, so i understand the struggle and frustration! i wanted to share just a few ways i’m making my desk look a little larger!

1. natural lighting

i know it may seem strange that just adding natural lighting would make your setup seem bigger, but it does! it really brightens up your space and can make it look cleaner and more organized than it may really be! i think putting your desk near a window is a super easy option to take advantage of the natural lighting!

2. full shelves and wall art

since you can’t go out, GO UP! use the space you have, fill it! i like incorporating some of my favorite things into the shelf and adding some fun lighting on the shelf and also curtain lights coming down onto the shelf.

3. storage under desk

often times people have cute little organizers on top of their desk to store little pc essentials, but i think it’s smarter to just go ahead and assign storage to the bottom of the desk. you’ll save so much space if you just go ahead and make the underside of the desk a designated storage area, and it also keeps the top uncluttered.
