We are all in some stage of refining by God. As we encounter people in our everyday lives whether they are family or strangers we must remember that we are walking in on an unfinished/underdeveloped stage of someone’s life. It’s okay to be disappointed. It’s okay to be heartbroken when people do not respond how we wish they would.

Instead, we just redirect our attention to the one who created us. The one who sees past our insecurities and flaws, and chooses to love us anyways. We should have that same energy when we are dealing with God’s children. My favorite saying rn is you will never meet someone that God does not love. That means how we view people and how interact with people truly matters to God.

On this journey to holiness (it’s a lifetime journey btw). We must not focus so heavily on our emotions but to surrender them entirely. Recognizing that each person has their own cross to bear too. We extend grace just as our Father does. We love even when it’s hard just as our Father does. We go above and beyond to meet the needs of others just as our Father does.
