Why beeswax? 🤷🏽‍♀️

3 reasons why I chose to work with beeswax when starting my candle making journey

1. Beeswax is a natural wax, as it comes directly from… bees 🐝. It was extremely important to me to choose a natural wax. I had thrown out all of my candles years ago because I had been coughing up black “stuff”, and was told candles are highly toxic. I missed candles so much, so when I started researching how to make my own candles, but not toxic, beeswax was a wax that continued to come up.

2. Beeswax is a natural odor eliminator. Beeswax emits negative ions into the air when burned, this then attaches to positive ions such as mold, odors, allergens, and then gets rid of them.

3. Beeswax has a naturally beautiful scent without adding anything to it. Beeswax smells like warm honey almost… it’s hard to describe, but it’s just so warm and beautiful on its own.
