Would you go down into these dark caves at Mammoth Cave National Park?

This is what we did on our one rainy day at Mammoth Cave National Park:

•Drove to the Mammoth Cave Visitor Center and looked around before our tour

•We did the historic tour that starts at the historic entrance— this was a great tour that offered a lot of info about the cave. It provided a good overview of the cave

•Got lunch at the Green River Grill that is in the lodge at mammoth cave— I got the pesto pizza and it was delicious

•We did the domes and dripstones tour during the afternoon— this tour is not for the faint of heart, embarking down nearly 100 metal stairs down into the cave but the views of frozen Niagara at the end are so worth it!

•We went into nearby Cave City for dinner at Bucky Bees BBQ of Cave City, and their bbq was so yummy!
